The start-up team Protemics will be financially supported from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and the European Social Fund, ESF in the second project-phase of the currently running "EXIST-Forschungstransfer" project.
Protemics is developing a new technology for the non-destructive testing of semiconductor microstructures and conductor layers as used in displays.
In November 2012 the four prospective founders of Protemics GmbH travelled to Berlin to present their project to a panel of experts. The business concept convinced the jury, so that a grant of 150,000 euros was approved for the second funding phase of the project. Project leader Dr. Michael Nagel: "We are happy and proud that our project will be further supported in frame of EXIST. This project is an immensely important help to accelerate our market entry."
